I think it’s PETA’s nature to be like
that. From our founding years we always believe that art should
be a mirror of society so it’s in our DNA to do that and we also feel that
using arts as a tool for that discourse makes it not only
interesting it also makes it more holistic. The way art
works is it makes your heart and your mind work at the same time and I think that
discussing socio-political issues on a platform of art makes it
even a more vital, deeper, clearer [discussion] because you have a heart and mind
movement that’s that sort of driving you as the discourse is happening
