Here’s Why the Government Just Banned All Drive Thru’s

rev up your engines
turns out that Minneapolis has just banned any further construction of any
drive-through businesses they say that they’re polluting the air having a bunch
of vehicles waiting in line going through the drive-through instead of
stopped and getting out and doing our business now this isn’t just fast-food
restaurants this is any type of drive-through they’re not allowing to
build any new drive throughs they’re gonna make them get out and then do
their business and come back in their car I got an interesting parallel the
other day I was driving down the street half a mile down the street from me
there is a Starbucks and across the street from it is another Starbucks
they’re not owned by the same guy they’re different businesses
but when you go buy them there is a line of cars in the street early in the
morning line enough to get their coffee toys didn’t get out they’d rather wait
in line maybe when I’m in a hurry I go and I park and I get in and get the
coffee because I don’t know wait in a line for 10 15 minute walk in the store
and do it but in Minneapolis they’re making it illegal to even build any more
Drive thrus who knows maybe this is the beginning some future trends so
Americans can get out of their vehicles get a little more exercise and not sit
there idling forever well good luck Minneapolis we’ll see how that
goes I’m assuming that some of these
companies are probably gonna take them to court and Sue them because they’ll
lose some of their business or something but, there’s one for the people there
bevel says the new CRVs with earth dream engines are going seven to ten
thousand miles before maintenance miles to change oil is that too long yes
now normally with pure synthetic oil I say change it every seven some would I
say every ten but they’ve had problems with those earth dream engines with oil
dilution problems so that gasoline is mixing with the oil and that eventually
can destroy your engine and those I would use full synthetic oil and I would
change it every three to five thousand miles and I personally wouldn’t even buy
one I would wait until Honda has perfected those things because
Honda say no it’s a software problem light a lot of any think it’s a bunch of
hooey I think they just built the things wrong and now they’re stuck selling people
engines that have oil dilution problems and yeah might not be till 100,000 miles
that your engine finally wears out but hey you want an engine from
under that where’s out in a hundred thousand miles I see old ones with four
hundred thousand they’re still going strong so I think honda screwed up on
that one I would definitely not go that long I would change it a lot and
person I wouldn’t even buy one, tim 1974 what do you guys think of a used 2015
dodge dart manual transmission it’s 35,000 miles on it’s a manual transmission so
at least it doesn’t have that horrendous Fiat designed automatic transmission
that’s garbage but realize that’s basically an Italian
vehicle and as they age they turn into money pits, it doesn’t have many miles on
it and it’s five years old if you can get
it dirt cheap and you don’t mind the way it rides it can be an okay Knockaround
vehicle but don’t think you can buy that thing put twenty thousand miles on a
year and not have it fall apart in front of your very eyes if you can get it
cheap and it’s a Knockaround car what the heck but don’t pay much for it they
are worth practically nothing from what I’ve seen they’re not making them
anymore anyways because they were such bad cars, Jeff Thompson 98 I’m
in the market for a new one-ton truck daily driver hunting truck I like the
new Ram 1500 but I’m shy of Chrysler because of their quality
I like the f-150 but I don’t like the idea of those EcoBoost v-six
should I try one of those or should I get an f150 with a v8 get the f150
with the v8 you’ll be happy those things can run forever if you take care
of them change the oil regularly and the transmissions they’re like any modern
automatic transmission as they age they will eventually wear out but you can get
factory remanufactured ones to trade them in if it wears out when you got 150
or 250 thousand miles and keep going on your merry way you don’t want to buy to
Chrysler there quality controls eat they were bad enough you know decades ago and
now Fiat taking over they’re even worse they weren’t a firm you’d be happy with
the plain old v8 out for 150 believe me that’d be what you want, Yankee boy 99
Scotty I’m looking to get a Toyota Solara they’re good cars they can be
optional in cars it was more or less kind of a marketing failure for Toyota I
mean let’s face it they had the Camry they have the Avalon the Solara
really it’s like in between them and not close to the fence it is no I know they
did offer the Solara convertible a lot of people wanted a Toyota convert all
Toyotas has never been big on convertibles and they bought the
solara just because they wanted a convertible it was like a Camry
convertible and they never made a Camry convertible some of them had problems
the power steering racks leaking you had to replace them but I mean that’s not a
reason not to buy a car you can replace that man it’s gonna last a really long
time they’re good cars it’s just that they were kind of a weird marketing what
were they they really were like Camrys and they were a little bit lower than
the Avalon so it really wasn’t kind of a marketing what is this thing why did
they make it a couple hundred three hundred thousand miles on they’re still
running good there’s nothing wrong with them, shade tree I got an 81 Ford f100 Ranger
two days ago my front brake won’t release all the way on the passenger
side the driver’s side is fine I replace rotors calipers pads rubber brake lines
and was suggested to replace the master cylinder and I did and it’s still doing only
the passenger side so what you’re gonna have
to do is you’re gonna have to check the lines the lines will rust or they’ll get
kinked and if they are going to the passenger side and police and that thing
is so old it’s an 81 I’m betting that’s either rusted inside and a line going to
the passenger side or it’s slightly bent and it’s restricted so then it won’t
release when you pick it up and the other side isn’t that would make the
most sense now it’s not gonna be a differential valve or anything because
that’s the front brakes to the rear brake pressure and it’s the right front
that’s sticking it’s not the left and so the valve doesn’t affect it affects the
front versus back but not one front versus the other look for rust related
or metal bending related on an old truck so if you never want to miss another one
of my new car repair videos, remember to ring that Bell
